At the start of our third month, rain is asserting its reign over early summer and it follows our mood. After a major set of errors and negotiations over fixes, we had no activity for three days. That wasn’t terrible to us after the stress of fixing problems. Today, two workers did major work on trim in the kitchen, but part of that was cutting down cherry trim, which was painful to watch—even though we know it will work out fine. Then we got a big ass interim bill.
Then we learned that tomorrow is another no-progress day before we head into a long holiday weekend. Our project manager said we would have some crews come clean stashed stuff out of our yard tomorrow, which will be great. Excuse me as I go dig out the pile of cherry wood sawdust that the dog wants to dig up or chomp on.

Sigh.
All better now:

My guess is that we will have two full weeks of minimal work considering the design mistakes, their impact on other projects, and the holiday. We are Not Happy.
