At VERY long last, the subcontractor to install our new gutters arrived today to “measure” the roof. I put “measure” in quotes because he took nary a measurement. He asked me if we wanted the garage to have replacement gutters as well. I refrained from answering “yes, it’s in the contract.” Then he suggested that we move the downspout of the garage from the front, draining into the driveway and ultimately into the sewer (where it’s supposed to go) to the backyard where water would ruin the garage and swamp the bricked backyard.
I had to convince him that would not be a good idea. (WTH Face)
He did not pick up the old gutter segment his previous visitors left on the front lawn.

This is fun!
